Support
How to get help with La Sociedad Ops, and the answers to the questions that come up most.
If you are in danger now
La Sociedad Ops is not an emergency service and does not contact one. In immediate danger, call 000 (in Australia).
How to reach support
admin@la-sociedad.club — answered during business hours, Australian Eastern time, with a first reply within 2 business days. The app's web address is ops.la-sociedad.org.
How a business gets access
La Sociedad Ops is provided to businesses by arrangement, not to individuals. A business that wants it for the people it works with writes to admin@la-sociedad.club; logins are then created for that business, and its people sign in with them. If you were given a business code with your login, type it on the sign-in screen.
What to include
- which screen you were on, and what you tapped
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- the time it happened, to the minute if you can, and which login you were using
Never put somebody else's phone number into a support email unless you are asked for it.
Common questions
- I cannot sign in. Your login comes from your business; ask it to check the username or set a new password. After several wrong passwords a login is locked for 15 minutes.
- I am not getting notifications. Open Settings in the app and look at Notifications: it says whether they are on, and offers to turn them on. If your phone's own settings block them, allow them there. You are also texted when a check-in runs out, so a missed notification is not a missed check-in.
- How do I know an alert will arrive? Settings → Emergency contact → Send a test alert. Your contact receives a text that says it is only a test. Ask them whether it arrived.
- The app says there is no connection. Nothing you tap is sent until the connection is back, and the app says so. A check-in already running keeps running on the server: you are still texted when it runs out.
- I lost my phone. Sign in on another phone and sign the lost one out under Settings → Signed-in phones, or ask your business to do it.
- A warning looks wrong. Open it in the register and tell your manager it looks wrong. A manager can withdraw it.
- I want my login removed. Settings → Removing your login. The account deletion page says what is erased and what is kept.
- Does it track me? No. Your location is used only if you allow it, only while a check-in is running, and the app shows you when it is shared.
