Deleting your account
How to have your La Sociedad Ops login and your data removed, what is erased, and what is kept.
How to ask
- In the app: open La Sociedad Ops, go to Settings, find Removing your login, and tap Ask for my login to be removed.
- Without the app: write to admin@la-sociedad.club and say which login is yours.
Either way the request goes to the owner of the business that gave you the login. A person acts on it, and you are told the outcome. The business responds within 30 days. You stay signed in until it is done; if a check-in is running, close it first.
What is erased
- your password, so the login can never be used again
- every sign-in on every phone, and the notification address of each phone
- the description of each phone that was signed in
- the phone locations shared during your check-ins
What is kept, and why
- warnings you recorded in the register — they are the business's safety record, and other people rely on them; they stay under the username you had.
- the record of what was done under your login — who recorded, flagged or withdrew what, and when — a safety record nobody can account for is a rumour.
- your past check-ins — when, for how long, where you said you would be, and how each ended — they are part of the same safety record. The phone locations shared during them are erased.
Kept records are held for as long as the business uses the service. A behaviour warning in the register expires three years after it was recorded.
Removing some of your data without removing your login
Write to admin@la-sociedad.club and say what you want erased — for example the locations shared during your check-ins. A person reads it, tells you what can be erased and what has to be kept, and does it.
If you do not use the app
If you believe your phone number has been screened or recorded in a business's register and want to know what is held, or want it corrected or removed, write to admin@la-sociedad.club. A safety warning may be kept where it is needed to protect people; you will be told if so, and why.
